Mold-headquartered Indigo Awnings has won a contract to supply products to Lord’s Cricket Ground, known as the ‘home of cricket’.
The company has been commissioned to provide parasols for the historic ground in London. It is the second time Lord’s officials have called upon Indigo Awnings’ expertise.
The business specialises in working with sporting venues. Other clients include Wembley Stadium and York Racecourse and the company worked on the London Olympics in 2012 and the Rugby World Cup in 2015.
Trevor Ruddle, managing director of Indigo Awnings, said: “We are delighted that Lord’s has chosen to come back to us again for their latest shading requirements.
“We are very privileged to provide products to some of the most prestigious sporting venues in the UK.”
Indigo Awnings also works extensively in the hospitality industry, with clients including the Marriott, Malmaison and Hilton hotel groups as well as Carluccio’s, Yo Sushi and Punch Taverns.
